“Jesus summoned together his twelve apostles and imparted to them authority over every demon and the power to heal every disease. “I will give you the keys of heaven’s kingdom realm to forbid on earth that which is forbidden in heaven, and to release on earth that which is released in heaven.”” (Matthew 16:19, TPT)
Jesus has invested in His Church all the authority that we need over sickness. This is a Biblical fact and spiritual revelation. The truth is that all sickness and disease is under the name of Jesus. No matter what name that man comes up with to label a sickness (i.e., cancer, diabetes, AIDS - HIV, asthma, Alzheimer's, dementia, or COVID in any version or variant.) the name of Jesus is higher.
In the name of Jesus the Church has been given authority. It is not our own authority and it is not our own power, it comes from Him.
“With the crowd surrounding him, Peter said to them all, “People of Israel, listen to me! Why are you so amazed by this healing? Why do you stare at us? We didn’t make this crippled man walk by our own power or authority.” (Acts 3:12, TPT)
“Faith in Jesus’ name has healed this man standing before you. It is the faith that comes through believing in Jesus’ name that has made the crippled man walk right in front of your eyes!” (Acts 3:16, TPT)
Do we have faith in the name of Jesus? YES!
And now is the time to use it. The name of Jesus is the cure. It is the healing. We are not waiting for another miracle vaccine. Man can't do all that God can do.
We thank God for doctors, medicine, science and the knowledge and wisdom to help...but God should not be our last resort.
It is time to stand up in our renewed strength and power from God and pray and speak what we believe!
Let's pray this together daily!
Heavenly Father, We come to you in the authority that the Head of the Church, Jesus has given us as His body and His representatives on this earth. You said that whatever we bind on earth would be bound in heaven and whatever we loose on earth would be loosed in heaven. We bind the virus called COVID-19 and all of it's variants and we declare that it must pass over us; our home, our family, our church family, our country and that it must wither up and die. We speak to it and say be cast into the sea you deadly virus and all the fear that is associated with you. We resist the fear of death and sickness and we ask you Lord to stretch out Your hand and do signs, wonders and miracles in the name of Jesus. We loose healing to those who are dealing with sickness, disease and fear. You are the Healer and your healing belongs to us. Strengthen us with the might of Your power to rise up and do all that You want us to do today. Thank You for Your word and covenant with us. We trust You and believe that You are continually working, In Jesus Name.
