Joy comes from knowing and remembering.
James 1:2–3 (NKJV)
"My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience."
When we know a few things we are more able to count it all joy.
When you know that:
Your name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life.
You've been adopted by the King of Kings.
You are seated with Him in Heavenly places far above all principalities and powers.
You are the head and not the tail.
You are above and not beneath.
You are the first and not the last.
You are in Christ, more than a conqueror.
You are victorious in Him.
You always triumph in Christ.
You have authority in the Name of Jesus.
The devil is under your feet because you are in the body of Christ.
When you resist the devil, he must flee.
You hold the keys to the Kingdom.
You are designed to destroy the works of darkness.
That no weapon that is formed against you can ever prosper.
Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.
If God be for you than who could be against you?!
The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead is quickening (making alive) your mortal body.
By His stripes you were healed.
All that you put your hands to prospers.
The favor of God surrounds you as a shield.
The angels of God have been given an assignment to minister for you since you are an heir of salvation.
You are protected by the Blood of the Lamb.
His grace is sufficient for all things and at all times.
You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.
You are part of the victorious church.
Heaven is your home.
This earth is as close to hell as you will ever come.
It is all up from here.
We win.
The best is yet to come.
This is the day that the Lord has made you can rejoice and be glad in it.
He is the glory and the lifter of your head.

Knowing what the Word says about you stirs up the joy of the Lord that resides within you. Recalling what you know from the Word releases a flood of joy that will change your emotions from sadness to gladness. What you do know from the Word and recall on a regular basis will put you over in life.
Rehearsing the "in Christ" realities will always bring the joy of the Lord on the scene. Give place to all that you know form the Word by declaring aloud who you are and what you have in Him. Today is your day to recall and rejoice in what you know.
Confession:
"I will remember the Lord my God at all times. His Word shall continually be in my mouth. I know who I am in Him and will recall it and recite it all day today. He is in me working His will as I remember what I know to be true. The truth of God's Word in me destroys every lie from the enemy. I win today because Jesus is my victory."
