God was not teaching Moses a formula at the burning bush, but a posture of humility, honor, and obedience in His presence. Through Psalm 34:11 and Exodus 3, we see that the fear of the Lord can be taught, learned, and developed as we respond to God with a teachable and reverent heart. Like Moses, we learn the fear of the Lord when we stop, listen, humble ourselves, and allow God’s presence to transform us from the inside out.
