We must return to a deep reverence and awareness that God is holy and that His ways, Word, and people are sacred. The fear of God gives us wisdom, helps us discern between good and evil, and calls us to separate ourselves from the world’s growing spirit of rebellion, disrespect, and treating holy things as common. As believers we should continually seek to honor God in every area of life by recognizing that because God is real, what we do matters and reverence should shape how we live.
