As believers we should move beyond comfortable, routine Christianity and seek the transforming power and guidance of the Holy Spirit. Christians are empowered to boldly share the gospel, resist the enemy, pray in the Spirit, heal the sick, and help deliver people from spiritual oppression. Demonstrations of the gifts of the spirit are the expressions of God’s love—not entertainment—and meet people’s real needs. We surrender our own plans, follow God’s agenda, and expect Him to bring salvation, healing, freedom, and peace.
