October 28, 2026 - Faith Is The Victory That Overcomes The World

The victory of faith as the defining force that enables believers to overcome the world and everything in it that stands against the purposes of God. Drawing from 1 John 5:4-5, Ephesians 1, Romans 8 and 12, and 1 Corinthians 15, because we are born of God, we are already positioned for victory -- not as a future possibility, but as a present reality activated by faith. The world, defined as the ungodly mass of men alienated from God and hostile to the cause of Christ, presses against us constantly. But our faith in Jesus, the risen and seated Lord, is the victorious power that triumphs over every opposition, circumstance, and challenge we face. This victory is not passive. It requires us to be active, steadfast, and deliberate in how we hear, speak, and live the Word of God.
