Connecting Our Church with Our Community

Project Connection is Faith Life Church’s new sign project. It includes a digital roadside sign and an updated sign on the front of our building.

This project has been in our hearts since we moved to this property. The new digital sign will help us connect with our community by allowing us to share Scripture, encouraging messages, service information, upcoming events, and other important announcements with the people who pass our church each day.

Through God’s faithfulness and the generosity of our Faith Life family, half of the project cost has already been provided. Reaching this milestone means we are ready to begin—praise God!
We invite you to follow the project’s progress, celebrate each milestone with us, and pray for the impact this sign can have in our community.

August 16, 2026 - We’re Halfway There!
We are excited to announce that $22,750—half of the total Project Connection cost—has already been provided. This means we are ready to begin!
The estimated project timeline is 8–12 weeks. We will continue sharing updates as work progresses and new milestones are reached.

August 23, 2026 — Sign Project Update
We are now at 54% of our financial goal! Last week, another $1,810 was given toward the sign project. Thank you to everyone who continues to give and believe with us as we move this project toward completion.
We have also reached another major milestone: the contract has been signed! The permitting process is moving forward this week, the components for the new sign are being ordered, and everything is progressing well.
We also received a wonderful testimony of God’s favor concerning the permit.
Federico, our representative with MetroLED, explained that when their team returned to the Gwinnett County Planning Department to obtain the permit, they discovered that the woman they had originally spoken with had retired and was no longer there. She was the person who had previously told them that churches would not be required to file for a variance for an LED sign.
That was significant because a variance could potentially involve a six-month process with no guarantee of approval.
Thankfully, a member of the MetroLED team reminded the Planning Department of the original conversation and the commitment that had been made. The County chose to honor it and allow the project to move forward without requiring the variance process!

August 30, 2026 - Site Visit
MetroLED SITE VISIT COMPLETED
 Last week, the MetroLED team visited our church property to review site conditions
 and prepare for the next phase of Project Connection.
 This important step helps confirm project details and keeps the work moving forward.
