Seek Wisdom Before

Proverbs 8:27-30  “When God prepared the Heavens, I Wisdom was there…Then I was beside Him as a master and director of the work.”  
 
We’ve already established that God did nothing without and apart from wisdom….. Then it is for sure that we cannot do anything successful without godly wisdom ourselves.   Wisdom is eternal because it comes from God.
 
Too often we ask God to bless what we have already decided, already constructed or already started.  But wisdom teaches us to begin with seeking God rather than asking Him to fix what we’ve already built without Him.  
 
Before the decision, let’s seek wisdom.  Before the relationship, let’s seek wisdom.  Before reaction, let’s seek wisdom.  Before the commitment, let’s seek wisdom.  
 
God’s wisdom is not based on culture, trends, or opinions.  Truth may be ignored, but it doesn’t change.  Wisdom may be rejected, but it does not become less true.  God’s wisdom does not simply help us repair what is broken or need’s an adjustment,  Wisdom helps us to build correctly from the beginning.  God’s wisdom is the guideline with the straight edge;  It’s the standard that tells us whether what we are building is ‘true’ or ‘tilted’.  
 
 
Wisdom Statement:  Wisdom doesn’t adjust itself t fit the times;  It call the times back into alignment.
