A Daily Word to Construct a Life of Faith
Proverbs 24:3 “Through wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established.”
Wisdom is essential to everything we build in life—whether it is a home, a family, a business, a ministry, or a church. Nothing of lasting value is established apart from godly wisdom.
Wisdom comes from God alone. He is the source of it. Godly wisdom originates with Him because it proceeds from His mouth—through His Word.
Proverbs 2:6 reminds us, “For the LORD gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.”
And Romans 11:33 declares, “Oh, how great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge!”
Even God Himself used wisdom when He created the earth and everything in it (see Proverbs 3:19–20). If wisdom was required for creation, how much more do we need God’s wisdom for our daily lives? To fulfill God’s plan, purpose, and destiny, we must walk in His wisdom and understanding.
As believers, we can have good ideas—even great ones. We can visualize outcomes, create plans, and design solutions. But we must ask ourselves some important questions:
If the answer is no, then it’s time to return to the drawing board. Every idea, every thought, every plan must be laid before Him. God sees the beginning from the end, and His ways are higher than ours. God always knows best.
It is truly a supernatural process: when we read God’s Word—especially the book of Proverbs—we become enlightened by it. God’s Word provides the daily wisdom we need for every area of life. No matter how simple or complicated our responsibilities may be, His Word brings direction, guidance, and answers—every time.
Isaiah 46:10
Isaiah 55:8–9

As believers, we can have good ideas—even great ones. We can visualize outcomes, create plans, and design solutions. But we must ask ourselves some important questions:
- Did I ask the Father about this?
- Did I inquire of the Holy Spirit?
- Did I stop and pray and seek His thoughts?
If the answer is no, then it’s time to return to the drawing board. Every idea, every thought, every plan must be laid before Him. God sees the beginning from the end, and His ways are higher than ours. God always knows best.
