Seek Wisdom Early
Proverbs 8:17-21 “I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently shall find me. Riches and honor are mine to give, as well as enduring wealth and righteousness, which is uprightness in every area and relation and right standing with God. What I give is better than the finest gold, my results yield better than the purest silver. I walk in the way of righteousness and in the paths of justice; I give wealth to those who love me and bring them into their inheritance.”
Wisdom give one of the most beautiful promises in Scripture: “Those who seek Me, diligently shall find Me.” God does not hide His wisdom from us. He does not make us chase Him endlessly without direction. He promises that those who love wisdom, pursue wisdom and make room for wisdom will find her.
We are to seek wisdom before opinions, before emotions, before making decisions, before reacting, and before following a crowd. Wisdom should have the first voice, not the last.
So many people spend their lives chasing riches, houses, success, jobs, relationships, and yes, even churches. Only to discover that what they seemingly gained could not satisfy what was empty within. Wisdom says, “My fruit is better than gold.” Why? Because wisdom gives something money cannot buy; Wisdom gives peace, a sound-mind, solid judgment, stability, over-all well-being physically, spiritually and mentally. Which is a lasting treasure!
There are treasures that fill bank accounts, and there are treasures that fill a life. Wisdom offers both provision, protection, preservation and great blessings. Wisdom leads us into the kind of life that is built on a solid foundation.
When we seek God’s wisdom first, we will never truly lack. The Lord know how to fill the treasury of a heart that is surrendered to Him.
Wisdom Statement: When wisdom has first place in your life, everything else finds its proper place.
