The Condition of Your Inner Filter

The Condition of Your Inner Filter

Proverbs 4:20–23 instructs us, “Attend to my words… keep them in the midst of your heart… for they are life… and health… keep your heart with all diligence…”

Your heart is the filter of your life.  Everything you see, feel and respond to passes through it.  If that filter is clean, filled with the Words of Jesus, then what flows out will be life, peace, joyful and clear.  But if that filter is neglected, it becomes contaminated, and things we say and answers we give will be filled with negativity, criticism and judgement.

Joshua 1:8 tells us to meditate on the Word day and night.  That is not a suggestion – it’s a divine instruction for maintaining spiritual strength and stability.

When the Word of God is not a part of our daily life, our perspective begins to shift.  Things that should not bother us, begin t weigh on us.  Our joy feels distant, our peace becomes unsettled and we begin looking at life through tired, strained and discouraged eyes.

The issue is not always the situation, it’s often the condition of the filter….
God’s Word was never meant to be occasional in our lives.  It’s a daily nourishment.  It cleanses, aligns, and strengthens us from the inside out.

When the Word fills our heart, it purifies your perspective and we begin to see life through the lens of truth, not pressure.

Wisdom Statement:  “A clean heart produces a clear life – When we daily fill our heart with the Word, we will protect the flow of joy, peace, and strength within ourselves.
