Guarding Your Mind Daily

Proverbs 4:23  “Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.”
 
Romans 12:2  “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind…”
 
Your mind is highly valuable and it must be guarded.  It’s like a vault with cash, gems and other extreme valuables.  We guard the things that are most important to us.  Why else would we have a security system in our homes? 
 
What we think on consistently will shape how we live.  Our thoughts become beliefs and believes influence the direction we take in life.  
 
There are many voices in today’s world competing for our attention:  News, opinions, fear-driven reports, and constant noises.  If left unguarded, those voices can influence our thoughts and weaken our peace of mind.  
 
God has a better way for us;  We are to renew our mind with His Word and fill our thoughts with truth and be intentional about what we allow to take root in our hearts and minds.  
 
A renewed mind becomes a stable mind.  And a stable mind produces a steady, stable life.  
 
Declare:  “My mind is being renewed by the Word of God, daily.  I will guard my thoughts with His Truth.  Peace and clarity of mind and heart belong to me.”
