Right Thinking Produces Right Living

Proverbs 23:7 says, “As he thinks in his heart so is he.”  
 
Our lives will always move in the direction of our dominant thoughts.  When our mind is not renewed by the Word of God, it becomes vulnerable to wrong thinking – fearful thoughts, negative assumptions and distorted perspectives settle in and being to rule all decisions.
 
This is why, when we are not consistently in the Word, everything begins to feel heavier.  We become more easily irritated, more easily discouraged, and more easily overwhelmed. We become short with people and tend to expect the worst and everyone and everything has a negative cloud on it.
 
The problem is not always what is happening around us, it’s often what is happening within us.

God’s Word has the power to recalibrate our thinking.  It corrects what is off, and it aligns what has drifted.  It brings truth into places where deception has tried to settle.  
 
When you think right, you will believe right.  When you believe right, you will respond right.  
A renewed mind produces a stable life.  

You cannot consistently live above the level of your thinking – But you can elevate your life by renewing your mind with the truth of God’s Word.  
 
Wisdom Statement:  When our thinking aligns with God’s Word, our life will align with God’s will.
