You Are Not Powerless

II Corinthians 10:3–5 (AMPC)  “We refute arguments… and take every thought captive into obedience to Christ.”
 
I Peter 5:8–9  “Be sober, be vigilant… your adversary the devil walks about… Resist him, steadfast in the faith.”
 
There is a real spiritual battle – but we are not without help, praise the Lord!! The enemy seeks to overwhelm the mind, to bring confusion, fear and discouragement.  If he can burden our thoughts, he can try to weaken our ability to stand in faith.  
 
But Praise God, we are not powerless;  We have authority in Christ, We have His Word, and we have the ability to take our wrong or negative thoughts captive.  
 
 
We do NOT have to accept every thought that come to us; Because not every thought that enters our mind is godly, or from place of peace.  We have the right, authority and responsibility to:
·      Resist fear
·      Reject lies
·      Stand firm in Truth.
 
Victory begins in the mind – And we are equipped to win in our mind!
 
Declare:  I take every thought captive, I resist fear, and stand in faith.  My mind is strong, steady and anchored in God’s Truth.”
