Strength Comes from the Word

Strength Comes from the Word

Proverbs 3:5-8 tells us that trusting in the Lord and acknowledging Him will bring “health to your flesh and strength to your bones.”

God’s Word does more than inform you, it strengthens you.

When we are consistently feeding on the Word there is a supernatural supply that begins to flow into our lives.  Our spirit is strengthened, our emotions are stabilized and our endurance increases.

But when the Word is absent, depletion sets in.  We may feel more tired, drained, or unmotivated – not because life is unusually difficult, but because our spiritual supply is low.  We have not sustained or nourished ourselves with God’ Word.

The Word of God is our daily source of renewal and replenishment.  It restores what life drains out of us.  It strengthens what pressure weakens.  We live in a world that constantly pulls from us.

Responsibilities, relationship, and demands all require something.  But God never intended for you to live depleted.

He made provision for us to live strengthened.  When we stay connected to the Word, we are not trying to survive, we are empowered to thrive.

Wisdom Statement:  The Word is our source of strength and when we stay filled, we will not live depleted.
