Wisdom Speaks Peacefully

James 3:17  “The wisdom from above is first pure, then peace-loving, courteous, considerate, it’s willing to yield to reason, full of compassion, and good fruits;..."
 
Godly wisdom affects how we speak.  Heavenly wisdom is not harsh, cruel, cutting g or unnecessarily sharp.  It is peace-loving and considerate.  
 
That doesn’t mean weak or compromising.  Jesus spoke truth boldly, but His words carried wisdom, weight, purity and purpose.  
 
Practical wisdom means learning how to say the right thing, the right way at the right time.  Sometimes the issue is not only what was “said”, but how it was “said”.  
 
Tone matters;  
Timing matters;  
Attitude matters.
