Isaiah Looked Ahead
Isaiah 53:4-5 “Surely He has borne griefs and carried our sorrows…… and with His stripes we are healed.”
Psalm 107:20 “He sent His Word and healed them…..”
Isaiah saw the Cross hundreds of years before Jesus came into the earth. By the Spirit of God, Isaiah prophesied that Messiah would not only bear sin, but He would bear sickness, pain, grief, and sorrow.
The word ‘borne’ means to carry away, remove, and take to a distance. Healing was already in God’s redemptive plan long before Calvary happened.
Isaiah looked ahead and saw redemption coming. He saw a healer carrying the burdens of humanity.
Declare: “Jesus bore my sickness and carried my pain. Healing was in God’s lan for me all along.”
