Sow Peace With Your Words

James 3:18  “And the harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who work for and make peace.”  
 
In everyone of our conversations, we are sowing something.  Our words plant seeds daily into marriages, families, friendships, church families, and our work places.  
 
Words of peace produce peace.  Words of anger produce tension.  Words of encouragement produces strength.  
 
Wise people intentionally sow peace with their speech.  They refuse gossip, unnecessary criticism and divisive conversation.  They understand that healthy relationships do not happen accidently.  They are cultivated through wisdom-filled words.  
 
Let’s ask ourselves:  What kind of harvest am I planting with my words?  
 
Wisdom Statement:  “The words you sow today become the atmosphere you live in tomorrow.”
